There lies the problem of 1000 years of ego-trippin’ people, corrupted to the bone, and no exit door in sight. There is a reason why we fail miserably in the world at pretty much everything right now. We are more caught off with each other then we have ever been before in human history. In the last 10 years we may have had breakthrough technological advancements in various area, such as medical (although we still have no cure for cancer) and computers (we now have touch devices and, well, yeah) but we have made ZERO advancement as far as human psychology or spirituality is concerned…none that we have our leaders implement to improve life on Earth for everyone anyway.
We are incapable of solving our economic problems (fucking bailouts, really?!), our society is at a crossroad – the political, monetary, religion and educational institutions are no longer working. Isn’t it obvious the system has become irrelevant and unsustainable? Change is imminent if we are to prosper on this beautiful planet.
If we don’t come together soon, and I mean really come together as one, we will destroy our environment, and ourselves, guarantee. You can’t have exponential growth forever. Can’t consume, consume, consume endlessly on a planet with finite resources! You just can’t!

After more than 15 years since I’ve owned the domain name BitBurn.org the rumors heard are true: I am not renewing this DNS come August 8.
The site will remain operational, of course. Free hosting from WordPress stays and the address to access this site will simply be https://bitburn.wordpress.com as usual.
You may not have noticed but, since today, BitBurn dot org is now looking a lot better on your smartphone. That’s because I am using a WP theme that is enhanced for mobile devices. The web is changing friends, and the PC is no longer the dominant platform for browsing the web. And that’s a good thing.
I’m a firm believer of the next big thing and emerging technologies. I love that the web is evolving. And I love using new tools to get to it, like smartphone and tablet. My main computer is my smartphone and has been for quite some time actually!
And I’m willing to bet my right nut that Microsoft’s next big release, namely Windows 10 coming this summer, won’t even make a ripple in the tech stratosphere. People are already gone. Everyone has a smartphone!
In 2007 when Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone… I’m thinking maybe Steve Balmer, then the CEO of Microsoft, instead of laughing should have rushed back to Redmond and start building a great smartphone! Like Google did with Android.
This is just a post to try out the new WordPress for iOS. Yes, the editor is beautiful but what about inserting a picture? Let’s try…
Snow is melting, cold is siding, warmth of longer days is taking over. I feel it will be summer very soon. Or will it? Because it has been darn cold lately. A matter of fact we’ve had a very hard and cold winter! Nonetheless, it is what it is and I shouldn’t complain too much. That is Canada!
Groundhog, being a groundhog
So, as I am trying to figure out which WordPress theme would be best for my dying blog, I couldn’t help but notice that all the newest themes don’t work properly with Internet Explorer 10. I mean, I thought with a bit of age and wisdom that Microsoft would start to have their shitty browser, eh well, work better & less shitty; But…doesn’t seem that way. Now this theme (this one you’re looking at today at 4PM on December 17!) looks much much better with Chrome & Firefox.
Once and for all STOP USING IE folks!
Is blogging rapidly dying or is it just me hallucinating? To be honest, I haven’t been much active with my blog lately (if you count the number of posts I wrote in the past year) but you can only blame Facebook for that! And Twitter…and Instagram….and Vine…and Pinterest! There are so many social networks nowadays, who needs a blog?! But, seriously, I do believe the era of blogging is dying.
The whole web is changing and the devices we use to browse it are changing. Smartphones & tablets is the way to go, unless you game, design or something like that. I still love technology and am mighty glad that the era of the Windows PC is finally over, according to Gartner and other analysts. So cheers and happy Facebooking!
